We warrant what we control.

We will warrant those matters under our control. Specifically there is a 10 day limited replacement warranty for faulty materials and workmanship. The product was professionally designed. The manufacturing was in one of America’s best club machining companies in Carlsbad, CA. The finishing was by one of the finest American golf industry finishing experts. The testing was by a well known independent testing company in Carlsbad, CA. We disclose the research and development evidence that the putter does what we claim. In the case of the Pro Forma-R™ the length of skid is amongst the shortest seen by independent testing. The transfer of momentum from club to ball is the best tested in the same laboratory. These factors in combination result in the most consistent ball roll presently available. The impact on the putter face has been tested at middle and towards the heel and toe. The middle and miss-hits towards the heel perform the same and those towards the toe were only slightly less consistent. Each putter design varies and results are listed under the specifications for each putter you are considering.

We are convinced we have brought the best of American technology to the market place. We have excellent quality controls that assure the product meets the highest standards at the time of shipping.

We also have insurance for damage that may occur during shipping. In the case of damage, the buyer must notify Prescription Golf of shipping damage by email within 10 days of receiving the FedEx package. Prescription Golf will file the claim. A FedEx claims officer will contact the purchaser to inspect the shipping box and the golf club to verify the claim. Upon verification by FedEx, a replacement club will be sent to the buyer.

We do not warrant what we do not control.

We do not warrant the golfer’s perception, the golfer’s ability to read greens, the golfer’s psychomotor skill level, or the direction and force of the putter and resultant direction and distance the ball travels. We will not warrant against physical or chemical damage to the club caused by environmental factors.

In short, we confidently provide a warranty on what we designed, manufactured and tested; a putter that produces consistency of roll and distance.

There is another case for our reasoning. We do not want to go out of business unnecessarily or unfairly. We launched in 2005. We learned that new companies in the golf industry that allow 30 day trial and full refund returns often find themselves out of business in a little more than 30 days. Why? Not necessarily because of the club per se, but related to the golfer’s skills or perception. “Golf clubs do not play golf.” The golfer buys and tries, but does not possess putting knowledge or skill and fails to benefit by the purchase. The club is returned, often unfairly. We do not sell, and do not guarantee the golfer’s effectiveness, enjoyment, perception, control, comfort, confidence or performance.

Our apologies if this policy does not meet with your approval. We invite you to buy someone else’s putter that is not accompanied by as much information and data as we have disclosed.

Return Policy: We will replace any product that is confirmed by us to have faulty material or workmanship by comparison to specifications and pictorial representations on this website and evidence we documented upon shipping. The replacement warranty is conditioned upon our receipt, within 10 days of the buyer’s acceptance of the FedEx package containing the club, of an email message explaining the fault in material or workmanship and a photograph of the affected part of the club. We will then notify you of our decision regarding the request for replacement, and any additional steps to be taken. If the request is granted, the purchased club must be returned to us with original invoice, and with shipping charges prepaid by the purchaser.

Indemnification: We will be indemnified and held harmless by you (and by those to whom you transfer the golf club) for any and all claims, expenses, damages and losses arising from intentional or negligent acts, omissions, accidents, or other untoward events involving the golf club. This obligation also extends to the Home Remedy™, which is intended for prototype production and not for play.

It is also acknowledged that any golf club can break, tarnish, rust, separate, and scratch, and these losses are the responsibility of the user and are not our responsibility.

If the purchased golf club is delivered to another person as a gift or otherwise, the purchaser accepts the responsibility to inform the recipient of the respective rights and duties of the parties under this Agreement. Both the original purchaser and the recipient of the golf club will be liable, and remain liable, to indemnify us and hold us harmless as provided in this Agreement.

We undertake no responsibility for the merchantability of the golf club, and we assume no responsibility that the golf club will be fit for any particular purpose for which you may be buying the club, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement. There are no warranties, express or implied, which extend beyond the description in this Agreement.

Summary: We warrant what we control. We trust you understand we cannot warrant that which is out of our control. The golfer’s ability to play the game is out of our control. We cannot control the golfer’s psychomotor skills, eye-hand coordination, or spatial relationship skills. We have no control over what direction the golfer hits the ball or how hard the ball is hit. We do not control where on the club face the ball is struck. We have no control over the environment to which the club is subjected.
